Where data lives
Desktop mode stores case data on your machine. No cloud upload is required to use the core workflow.
Encryption at rest
Local databases are encrypted at rest. Exports can include checksums for integrity verification.
Offline-only mode
Toggle offline mode to disable external calls. Your workflow continues without network access.
AI mode + redaction
When AI mode is enabled, Case Signal redacts sensitive data before sending summaries for drafting help.
Web mode controls
Hosted deployments can enable retention limits, audit logs, role-based access, and data export policies.
